HOWTO REMOVE

THE SNOWHOOD

Toaccessthesparkplug,thesnow

hoodmustberemovedasfollows:

1.Removethechokecontrolknob

(seeFigure20).

2.Removethesafetykey.

3.Removethemountingscrews

(seeFigure21).

4.Slowlyremovethesnowhood.

Makesurethattheprimerbutton

hoseandtheignitionwirearenot

disconnected.

5.Thesparkplugcannowbeac-

cessed.

6.Toinstallthesnowhood,firstmake

surethattheprimerbuttonhose

andtheignitionwireareconnected.

7.Mountthesnowhoodtotheengine

andsecurewiththemounting

screws(seeFigure21).

8.Connectthechokecontrolknob

withthechokeshaftonthecarbure-

tor(seeFigure22andFigure23).

Makesurethechokecontrolknobis

properlyinstalled.Ifthechokecon-

trolknobisnotinstalledcorrectly,

thechokewillnotoperate.

9.Installthesafetykey.
